The Troop 301 Black Mountain Hike on April 10th gave our new boys a chance to learn compass skills and complete their 5 mile hike required for second class. Â It also gave them a chance to hike with older boyscouts. Â Â We enjoyed perfect weather. Â

The view from the back was quite impressive, that long line of red shirts snaking its way up the hill looked very cool. I can't believe how close the paraglider got to us. Can we do that next time, it looks fun.
