Unit Advancement Training

This training is for committee members who have responsibilities for encouraging, tracking, and overseeing the advancement of the youth in their units. We will discuss the online advancement program, record keeping, awards, the trail to Eagle, and numerous other subjects.
Committee chairs, if you don’t have someone on your committee specifically assigned to this duty, please designate someone to come, even if it is you. Someone is making out your advancement reports!
Merit Badge Counselor Training

This training is for those who are already serving as merit badge counselors in the Scripps-Mesa District, as well as those who may be interested in signing up.
We will be discussing the guidelines for successful counseling as well as sharing experiences. Unfortunately, not everything we hear about the counseling service is accurate. So come get a refresher!
Trail to Eagle Seminar

This program is for all boys, parents, and leaders who are or will be involved with a young man’s progress toward the Eagle rank. Please help spread the word in your units or to anyone who may need this information.
Special emphasis will be given to requirements for a successful Eagle Service Project, and how to make it a smooth and rewarding experience. An Eagle Service Project counselor and Eagle Board of Review member will be in attendance to present the materials and answer questions.
