Dave Englund is looking for several volunteers for the Scouting Museum on Sunday, January 10th as part of Adventure Base 100 which is coming to San Diego after the kick off the its 100 year anniversay with a float in the Rose Parade.
Each volunteer shift is three hours.
The Scouting Museum needs Greeters and Docents to:
– Greet people in line
– Welcome guests as they enter
– Manage the flow of traffic while educating those waiting about Scouting
– Serve as tour guide
Museum volunteers per shift: 6
Volunteers can be Scouts, Scouters, Scouting alumni.
Volunteers should be ready to recruit!
Volunteers must be friendly, enthusiastic, and eager to serve as tour ambassadors.
All Scouts and Scouters need to be in full uniform while working.
This is a great opportunity to be part of scouting history.
