Remember to often photocopy the pages in your SCOUT HANDBOOK and your merit badge cards and to keep the copies updated in a fire proof location. A lost or otherwise destroyed Scout Handbook and/or merit badge cards can adversely affect a Scouts progress without these copies! Especially make copies after a major event where many things are signed off (like a campout or summer camp) and after any Boards of Review for rank advancement.
