What a blast it was to return to our favorite summer camp home!
The weather was perfect, cool in the shade, shirt sleeves in the sun, light breezes as we ventured back to Lost Valley for an autumn adventure. We stayed in the STAFF cabins, and ate great meals in the dining hall (lasagna, chicken fajitas, ice cream sundaes. . .yum!).
Congratulations to: Jacob Zimmer, Colin Davis, Garrett Solberg, Ryan Madsen, Matt Ringel, and Duncan Klug who earned the rifle shooting merit badge; Andrew Izzo and Josh Solberg who worked on archery merit badge; Kyle Fisher who earned aviation merit badge and did a splendid job as emcee of our “Campfire/Song and Ski†Fest.”
HUGE thanks to Mr. Zimmer and Mr. Davis for driving, helping teach Rifle Shooting merit badge with Rangemaster “BEAR.” These two leaders made this trip possible! We look forward to the posting of the dates of next year’s merit badge weekends, so that we can return!
