Really an awesome day!
Thank you so much to all of the drivers and families that made today go so easily! Thank you to Mr. Stachwick for handling the bank!
We were in camp by around 11:45, and were set-up, had all the medical and swim checks done, and all the merit badge cards filled out by 3:15 PM!! The boys then played cards in the shade and drank LOTS of water! Dinner was fajitas, and all the boys chowed down, with lots of them having seconds.
Then the older scouts led the whole troop on a bike ride around camp. Opening campfire was awesome with familiar and new songs and skits. “It’s Time To Choose Your Own Adventure!” skit was performed again this year (YAY!!).
Tomorrow they will be up by 6:30, and breakfast assembly is at 7 (egads!). Then the merit badge fun starts! Thank you to each of you for having your son come to camp, and thank you for being in Troop 301!
