In December we did the Scripps Ranch to the Sea 20 miler. The hike starts in Cypress Canyon Park and heads up to the Fire Station, back down towards Scripps Ranch Park, up the hill to Angilique St, then down to Sabre Springs in Poway. It winds through Sabre Springs open space to PQ Canyon to Sorrento Valley then on to Torrey Pines State Beach. There are a number of aide stations offering Donut Holes, Chips, peanut M&Ms, Gatorade, Water and other refreshments. It was an all day affair, a very difficult hike especially for newer Scouts. As usual we had a number of scouts that completed the hike for more than their first time. Congrats to all those that did the hike and thanks to those that manned the aide stations.
