1. Signatures MUST be originals. NO faxed signatures will be excepted.
2. Application must be typed or in ink. An application done in pencil will be returned.
3. The application should be in a three ring binder. This will help to safeguard the package from being damaged or information being separated. Debbie told me some Scouts just paper clip their package.
4. The letter of ambition MUST be included. This is overlooked by several Scouts each month, which makes their package incomplete.
5. On the application, scratch out the optional merit badges that were NOT earned.
6. Proofread the dates. When the application is typed, it is easy for an incorrect date, including year, to be entered.
7. Proofread the WHOLE application with a magnifying glass.
8. Proofread the WHOLE package.
9. Have someone else proofread the application and the WHOLE package.
10. Finally, Proofread everything one more time.
